Some of the most dynamic, enduring friendships are built around common interests!
Our clubs and workshops give children opportunities to do something they love (or learn something new!) alongside others who share similar interests.
Just like our primary outdoor groups, our clubs welcome learners with diverse abilities & support needs and provide a fun, welcoming place to grow social skills and more. Some children with support needs may require a parent or qualified aide to accompany them. See our FAQ for details
Art Club

- This club meets indoors in Waynesboro, VA
- Mixed ages 6-12, small group size
- Each meeting starts with a micro-lesson, then shifts to open studio time. During open studio time club members may use materials of their choice from those available to practice the skills from the micro-lesson and/or create art of their choice. (We use the TAB approach to art education.)
- We do not focus on everyone replicating specific projects or crafts. Instead, our focus is on:
- Spending time with friends
- Exploring mediums, techniques, and artistic processes
- Developing good studio habits
- Growing individually as artists
- A quiet break room is available for any club member to use as needed.
